Online Trees - Malus transitoria

PLEASE NOTE: The 2011/2012 lifting season has now finished. We are now unable to supply bare root trees until November, 2012.

For container-grown trees and shrubs please contact the nursery office.

Malus transitoria is a beautiful slender tree with small delicate leaves. It has excellent Autumn colour and a good crop of lasting yellow fruit. It is particularly effective when planted in a lawn, or as a specimen tree.

The tree offered is a nursery-grown two-year old bare root tree with a good head. Specimens vary in height from 2.00. to 2.50. metres. (Please see the photo above.)
A mature Malus transitoria will eventually stand at about 6.00 metres high.

It is good practice to plant the tree in well prepared soil, supported by a stout tree stake and tie.

Other than deciding how many you would like, you have two purchase options - the tree only; or the tree with a 1.8 metre stake and tie.

UK Delivery, excluding Devon & Cornwall; Wales; and north of Edinburgh, is calculated on total order value. You can check our delivery charging structure on the Delivery & Terms of Business page.

[We do deliver to Devon & Cornwall; Wales; and north of Edinburgh, however, this incurs an additional delivery charge of £30.00 per order. Please contact Joan or David at the nursery office to take your order.]
