Online Trees - Betula pendula "Youngii"

PLEASE NOTE: The 2011/2012 lifting season has now finished. We are now unable to supply bare root trees until November, 2012.

For container-grown trees and shrubs please contact the nursery office.

BETULA pendula 'Youngii', (Weeping Silver Birch), is a beautiful small, compact weeping birch, which is a very attractive, reliable garden tree. It requires staking and tieing when young and will benefit from a light annual feed of garden fertilizer in the Spring. Apart from this it needs little maintenance.

It is particularly effective when planted in a lawn, or as a specimen tree.

The tree offered is a nursery-grown two-year old bare root tree with a good head. Specimens vary in height from 2.00. to 2.25. metres. (Please see the photo here.)
You have two purchase options - the tree only; or the tree with a 1.8 metre stake and tie.

UK Delivery, excluding Devon & Cornwall; Wales; and north of Edinburgh, is calculated on total order value. You can check our delivery charging structure on the Delivery & Terms of Business page.

[We do deliver to Devon & Cornwall; Wales; and north of Edinburgh, however, this incurs an additional delivery charge of £30.00 per order.]
