Online Trees - Malus 'Admiration'

PLEASE NOTE: The 2011/2012 lifting season has now finished. We are now unable to supply bare root trees until November, 2012.

For container-grown trees and shrubs please contact the nursery office.

Malus 'Admiration' is an erect dwarf tree in the Crab Apple family. It displays a mass of waxy white flowers in the Spring followed by branches loaded with small bright red / bronze fruits in the Autumn / Winter.

As an upright dwarf tree, 'Admiration' is ideal for a small, or restricted situation.

For successful planting, as always, we would recommend that the soil is dug over and cleared of debris and weed before plenty of tree planting compost is forked into the area. It will benefit the young tree initially if it is supported by a well-fixed tree stake. In the future it is best to keep the immediate base area free of grass and weeds, and to give the tree a light feed of a general garden fertilizer annually in the Spring.

The tree offered is a nursery-grown two-year old bare root tree with a good head. Specimens vary in height from 1.25 to 1.50 metres. (Please see the photo above.)
A mature Malus 'Admiration' will eventually stand at about ?? metres high.

Other than deciding how many you would like, you have two purchase options - the tree only; or the tree with a 1.8 metre stake and tie.

UK Delivery, excluding Devon & Cornwall; Wales; and north of Edinburgh, is calculated on total order value. You can check our delivery charging structure on the Delivery & Terms of Business page.
